Viva Apespania! is the 4th level in Ape Escape 2.

Description

Viva Apespania is set in the countryside, in a small Spanish town. The level opens in a field in front of the town's entrance, surrounded by sunflowers. The town itself is circular, filled with white houses with orange tiled rooftops that can be navigated on. The town also has a bullfighting arena where the RoboCow is fought.

Strategy

Gotta Go Fast: This level introduces the Dash Hoop and so this gadget is needed quite often. Many slopes around the level can only be scaled with the Dash Hoop, including the rooftops that surround the city. Pipo Monkeys with dark blue pants are also first found in this level, and their quick speed can be countered by chasing them down with the Dash Hoop.

Bullfighting: When fighting the RoboCow, use the Dash Hoop to outrun it and hit the green weak spot on its backside. Remember when the button is black, the RoboCow is invulnerable.

Agile Bullfighter Monkeys: Bull fighter monkeys are unique to this stage can be tricky to catch. They will easily avoid any swings of the Monkey Net and it is recommended that you hit them with the Stun Club first.

Time Trial

The time trial for this level requires you to catch 5 monkeys.

An efficient way to get the gold trophy is to first make sure you have the following Gadgets equipped: Dash Hoop, Stun Club (Or Magic Punch) and Time Net. First use the Dash Hoop to go up the slope to catch the monkey named Slope. After that jump down and break the third wooden box with the stun club to reveal the monkey Pogo. After you've caught Pogo, use the Dash Hoop to quickly catch the monkey Billy and then go through the wooden doors. Once inside the town go straight ahead with the Dash Hoop to catch the monkey Wiz. Once you've caught Wiz, you can finally dash ahead to catch the monkey Ole.
