Trivia[]
- In the NTSC-U/C version, the monkey Namigo's title is Sighseeing[9], which is a typo, as all other monkeys with similar titles are Sightseer.
- The European channel title is a reference to the kids show Sesame Street and the show's theme song "Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?"
- "Monk Mulder" from the PAL version, and his description "The truth is out there"[10] is another reference to Fox Mulder from The X-Files. This marks the 3rd time in the series that Fox Mulder was referenced in PAL localizations, also appearing in The Blue Baboon in Ape Escape 2 and Specter Land in Ape Escape.
- The racer monkey "Dale Monkhardt" from the PAL version may be a reference to American professional stock car driver, Dale Earnhardt.
- The Ninja section of the level may have originally been intended to be longer, as the canyon it takes place in extends further beyond the playable area and eventually leads to an unseen cliff. This cliff contains an unused and unfinished cave that can only be seen in Debug Mode.
