Snowmen are enemies that appear in Ape Escape.
Appearance[]
Snowmen are exactly what they are, big faintly humanoid sculptures made from two large mounds of snow stacked one on top of another. They have a pair of hands sticking from their sides that seem to be made out of ice and wear a metal bucket for a hat that's imprinted with Specter's emblem on one of the sides. They also bear the same emblem on their fronts and have angry red eyes with black sclerae.
Strategy[]
Snowmen remain inactive in a certain spot of the stage and are completely invincible to the bullets from the Slingback Shooter, even explosive ones while they're hidden. When Spike is near, the Snowmen pop from the ground and start to jump around their area aiming to crush the monkey catcher. If successful, the Snowman will bounce around aimlessly while Spike recovers from the hit and then start to chase him again. If Spike leaves their area they go back to their respective spot and hide.
When they pop from the ground any weapon you have serves right to fight them back, but due to the way they hop around it makes them a hard target for the Super Hoop and the R.C. Car in particular. The best you can do is hit them with single strikes of the Stun Club and time correctly their jumps.
