Mirage Town is set in a dry and barren desert. It is made up of four distinct sections. The level begins with an Oasis, then leads to an ancient tomb, an Arabian city, and ends at a magnificent palace.

Trivia[]
- Near the final monkey, Princess Judy/Katie, is a magic carpet that takes players back to the first area of the city. This is to help players who missed too many monkeys along the way and can't complete the level. This is also a reference to the Disney film Aladdin.
- The level's titular character, Apey Jones/Mondiana Jones, as well as the golden idol, are a direct reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- Mirage Town actually contains a cut area hidden in the files. This area was set at a seaside section of the town in which the player could platform across small boats on the water to get to a large ship at the end[8].
