Description

Enter the Monkey has high mountains and Chinese architecture, with powerful Kung fu monkeys training within. Pipotchi was found here after getting lost.

Strategy

A Group of Monkeys: The level starts with a large congregation of monkeys training in the courtyard, possibly the largest amount of monkeys found in such close proximity in the game. The best option here is to simply run up to the crowd and start catching them before they all spread out.

• Enter the Monkey is a reference to the classic Bruce Lee martial arts film, Enter the Dragon
• Bruce Monkee, who also appears as a Monkey Summon in Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed is reference to Lee himself.
• Monkie Chan is named after Jackie Chan, both of whom do their own stunts.
• John Ook, the monkey who loves action movies, is likely a reference to John Woo, a famous Hong Kong action movie director.
• This is one of the few levels that have 2 secret monkeys after completing the Moon Base.
• Daimion's description, "No number of blows can phase him" refers to the immense discipline of monks and martial artists. He will remain completely still even if he notices the player or is attacked.
• Goku/Songokou may be a reference to Goku from Dragon Ball, specifically Kid Goku, when he carried a Power Pole and rode on a Flying Nimbus.
